Lu, Miao-Ying

Born in Taiwan, she graduated from the Graduate Institute of Transdisciplinary Arts at the Taipei National University of the Arts. Working across video, installation, sculpture, and writing, her practice explores plant and animal narratives, ecological entanglements, and more-than-human relations. Drawing from specific sites and local histories, she combines field research, moving-image documentation, and poetic storytelling to investigate how labor, ecology, and environmental memory shape forms of coexistence across species.

Her recent works have been exhibited at the Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts, Digital Art Center Taipei (DAC), and Taipei Artist Village. Her video works have also been screened and exhibited at festivals and exhibitions in Thailand, the United Kingdom, Portugal, Italy, Spain, and Lithuania. She was an artist-in-residence at the Pier-2 Art Center in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, in 2026. Miao-Ying Lu is a member of the artist collective Video Art Guerrilla, currently organizing independent screenings and film festivals outside institutional venues worldwide.

呂妙盈

出生於台灣，畢業於國立台北藝術大學藝術跨域研究所。她透過錄像、裝置、雕塑與寫作進行創作，關注動植物敘事、跨物種感知，以及人類與非人生命之間的親密及權力。作品多從特定場域與地方歷史出發，結合田野研究、影像紀錄與詩性敘事，探討勞動、生態與環境記憶如何形塑物種之間的共存經驗。

近年作品曾展出於高雄市立美術館、DAC台北數位藝術中心、台北國際藝術村等機構，錄像亦於泰國、英國、葡萄牙、義大利、西班牙及立陶宛等地放映與展出，在 2026 年於台灣高雄駁二藝術特區駐村。呂妙盈為藝術家團體錄像游擊隊成員之一，正於世界各地舉辦機構外的影展和放映行動。
